Wednesday, May 23

Today, you are looking at examples of backboards for speeches. You and a partner should find sogood ideas for your presentations. Remember with the paper, double-spaced, correct font, and headers on every page. To set up headers, go into Word's page set up menu select the box that says 'different first page'. Go to 'insert' menu for headers and right-justify your first and last name for a header. For example, my first page header would read Heather Carver. For every other page, your header will be your last name only and the page number, which should be inserted by finding the page number button that looks like #. Enter in current position behind your name, and in plain style. Use some advanced citation technique with name drops in the sentences!

Junior Project Deadlines

It's that time of year again, the final research paper and speech for Famous American project. By this time, you should have on file your approval form and also your first book about your famous American. We will be gathering research this week, and we will start the paper creation next week. Remember! You cannot be successful at writing if you've nothing to write about! Get those books, sources, library cards, and highlighters ready! -Mrs. C
